Vivien was very excited about the whole costume thing this year--her costume AND Rafe's costume. He didn't mind sharing. |
And Vivien thanked him for his generosity with a sisterly hug. |
Vivien would like it to be noted that she also eats. Can't give the baby too much attention in her presence. . . |
Here's our Halloween fare. I made shortbread fingers with peanut nails. They were ok. Nobody would eat them though because they looked too gross. Except Vivien. She ate a whole hand. |
My mom made bloody brains (cauliflower and beets). Rex wouldn't touch it because it made him feel sick. |
And what would Halloween be without hot dog mummies? My mom also did Witchy Potatoes. Green pepper mouth, serrano chili nose, tomatoes and olives for eyes, and blue corn chips for a hat. It was fun! |
After dinner we got suited up for candy collecting. |
Sarah and Ronnie came with us. She was Snow and I was Mary Margaret. "We are both!" |
We had to warm them up after with a nice bath. Rafe has joined the sitter-uppers, but it's still slippery so I have to have CONSTANT VIGILANCE. |
Little does he know how many times he's been in harms way . . . Vivi refuses to let him sit in the exersaucer unmolested. |
I'm sure he's grateful for my efforts. |
